| Hammond, IN Sunday June 25th 2006 The site of the 26th Annual Battle of Chicagoland Nationals Karate Tournament was the Jean Shepherd Community Center. Over two hundred contestants registered for the day's events. Kids of all ages to Grand Championship adults were competing in over 150 divisions. Mortel Studios was at the tournament providing portraits for all the contestants, with some of their family members joining in. Here are some sample portraits there were printed on site for the families to take home with them. |

| Picture packages that families were able to order included small wallets all the way up to 13"x19", living room sized portraits.
Some of the students brought their newly won trophies and weapons with them for their portraits, really giving the picture a sense of accomplishment and pride. Each photo order that was placed was automatically entered into a raffle for a 20"x30" montage print. Everyone was photographed in several different poses, just in case they were the lucky winners. Once the drawing is held, the winner, along with their pictures will be posted on this site. |
